What We Collect and Where Do We Collect It?

Anyone may come to the site and not have to provide personal information or have a cookie set in their computer.

Users of the site who want to access the Lightsearch.com COMPANY SEARCH DIRECTORY and view the mailing address, phone and fax numbers must pay an annual subscription fee. We collect some personal information at the time we process the subscription: contact and address information; profession; credit card number and expiration date; and e-mail address.

As with most web sites, we monitor where users of the site travel throughout the site so that we can develop a better understanding of the areas of greatest interest.

How Does Lightsearch.com Use This Information?

a. Navigational
Our system automatically gathers information about the area of the Lightsearch directory visited by users. To do this, Lightsearch.com sets a cookie in the computer of every user. We are able to use the cookies to monitor search trends. We do not use any of this navigational data on an individual basis. Nor do we share any of this data with outside companies. Please note, however, that sensitive credit card information is not included in the information stored.

We might, from time to time, use the information provided to send you alerts about new features on Lightsearch.com. About Children

Lightsearch.com does not target children nor does Lightsearch.com expect to attract children to its site. Because we are not a children's site, we do not provide most of the privacy measures that are so important for their protection on the Internet. Because of this, we ask that minors do not submit information to Lightsearch.com without the express consent and participation of a parent or guardian.
